What is Cursed Forces?
Cursed Forces is an epic medieval dark fantasy adventure with a hint of sci-fi, told through unique visual diary entries that blend the defining traits of graphic novels and comic books.
The Story
A famed author and collector of legends travels far and wide, gathering tales to turn into books. For the first time in his career, he chooses to follow a story in real time on a forbidden world. His journal becomes the lens through which we witness three sisters on a dangerous quest for redemption, as he pieces together fragments of their past and the unfolding present, hoping that in the end their story will prove worth telling.

The Format
Cursed Forces is presented in a unique visual diary format, where each entry feels personal and free of strict rules, like a real journal. Pages can be chaotic, symbolic, or structured like a traditional comic or graphic novel, creating an experience where the artwork often reveals details the writing does not, and vice versa, rewarding readers who pay attention to both.

The Art Style
The artwork is designed to feel like it belongs inside the diary itself, with an ink-and-pencil feel. Intentionally not over-rendered, as if the narrator is sketching people, places, and moments as the story unfolds. Pages are primarily monochrome, with selective color used sparingly to make key details pop and add vividness.

Who it's for?
For fans of fantasy action adventures, a darker tone, high stakes, world-building, faster-paced visual storytelling. Recommended for young adults and up due to the level of violence during fight scenes and battles.

Frequently asked questions
How often do you release a new issue?
That mainly depends on the artist creating the illustrations and the length of the issue. My goal is to release at least 2–3 issues per year.
When will you upload new issues to the website?
Patreon subscribers get early access to each new issue for a few weeks after its release. Once that early access period ends, I upload the high resolution version of the new issue to the website.
What is the best way to support the series?
Probably Patreon.
Do you use AI?
Neither does the artist use it for creating the art,nor do I for writing the story. The reason I started writing is because that is my favourite thing to do, so I feel like it would defeat the purpose.
Why don't you offer printed copies?
I have a few reasons for that. I wrote a dedicated post about it on Patreon, but the short answer is that providing a print-ready version is the most affordable way for you to get a printed copy.
Another reason is that many printing services require the title and the author's name to appear on the front cover. That would go against the journal theme.
